What:  Complete your 45 hour requirement in 12 sessions in any order.PLEASE NOTE THAT THE STATE REQUIREMENT HAS CHANGED TO 75 HOURS. IF YOU TOOK THE SALESPERSON COURSE THAT WAS ONLY 45 HOURS, THE STATE NOW REQUIRES YOU TO TAKE THE 30 HOUR REMEDIAL COURSE IN ADDITION TO THE 45 HOUR BROKER COURSE. Duration: 45 hours
When:  Classes are offered every month. 
Day Classes - Morning Sessions start at 9:00AM; Afternoon Sessions start at 1:15PM (Ending time varies by session) Night Sessions start at 6:00PM **Sessions are independent of one another and can be taken in any order**

Cost: $350

Remedial Course (in the classroom) costs $200 ($160 + $40 for book). However if sign up for Broker and Remedial Course (in class only) together you will receive discounted price of $550 (will include both books).

Session 10: REAL ESTATE INVESTMENTS & REAL ESTATE MATH
Session 11:  GENERAL BUSINESS LAW

Steps for becoming a broker:

Step 1: Must have taken the salesperson course first details

Step 2: Finish our 45-hour broker course consisting of 12 sessions  (mix and match 12 sessions within 3 month)
Step 3: Successfully pass our school exam at the end of the course
Step 4: Apply for becoming a NYS licensed broker at the Department of State; make a reservation for a **NYS exam**
Step 5: Successfully pass the **NYS exam** for becoming a broker

**New York State Exam**- You are now required to make an online reservation in order to take the state exam. Please note that you can make your reservation immediately. Even if you plan on taking exam a few months from now we recommend that you make your reservation now. What are the requirements?

To become a broker you must attend classes, pass the school and N.Y.S. exams, and have earned 3500 experience points as a salesperson or 5200 points through equivalent experience. For more information on the points requirements and to print out at application CLICK HERE The Broker Course may be taken before all the required experience has been accumulated. Furthermore, the Broker Course qualifies for your 22.5 hour Continuing Education requirement.
